Santa Marina began as the vision of a legendary Greek entrepreneur. Elias Papageorgiou loved Mykonos and Arachova more than any other place on Earth. He really loved the freedom, authenticity and natural beauty of captivating Arachova. Following his success with Santa Marina Mykonos, in 2006, Elias Papageorgiou purchased his family a spectacular property in Arachova overlooking Parnassos Mountain and established the Santa Marina Arachova, Resort & Spa, a luxury chalet filled with elegance and located in a serene area with uncompromising mountain views. The ideal place for a wonderful winter retreat.

When Elias Papageorgiou sadly passed away in 2012, his daughter Christiana Papageorgiou took over the operation of Santa Marina Hotels. With her passion for travel, her love of design and fashion, and her belief in excellent service, Christiana Papageorgiou is continuing the proud family legacy of Santa Marina.
